I WEAR A MASK WHILE OUT SHOPPING

Everyday people graciously agreed to participate in ExpressYourselfBlog’s non-partisan, non-political ‘I Am A Civic Citizen’ Campaign highlighting the responsible decision to wear a mask while out in public shopping. The Campaign statement is applicable for any activity in which you wear a mask to protect against the spread of COVID-19 while out in public spaces. The Campaign statement specific to ‘Shopping’: ‘As part of #MyCivicDeeds, #IWearAMaskWhile shopping’.

Our campaign hashtag ‘My Civic Deeds’ pertains to any time Citizens identify ways to take actions that benefit their community. Wearing a mask while in public spaces in today’s environment is one of the single most important actions anyone can take to slow the spread of Coronavirus, according to medical experts, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

This particular act of wearing a mask is the epitome of our ‘My Civic Deeds’ campaign definition, as it is very much community-focused. Studies have shown, those who wear a mask and those around them, family, friends, and fellow citizens are better protected from the potential dangers of COVID-19.
