VOTE IN NORTH CAROLINA PRIMARY ELECTIONS

Whether or not you agree or disagree about the political policies and protocol for your state, if you are a Citizen the time is now to vote in North Carolina Primary Elections. Early voting opportunities and same day registration ends Saturday May 5. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 is Primary Election Day, an opportunity to support your Candidate of choice to run in General Election.

Use your voice and your power, cast your vote and be a part of the process that shapes your cities, and local communities. Why your vote is crucial in 2018 upcoming Midterm Elections. During this election period, voters elect one-third of all U.S. Senators and all 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives that make up Congress. Depending on your state, it may also include Gubernatorial (Governor) and Mayoral (Mayor) races. The Midterm Congressional, State and local Elections, duties of these offices, and chosen Candidates have the most significance as they determine policies that have impacts on a local level that affects the livelihood of everyday people.



VOTER INFORMATION AT A GLANCE

All North Carolina Citizens must vote at their specified Precinct on Primary Election Day, Tuesday May 8, 2018. All polling places are open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM on Primary Election Day. If you are in line at 7:30 PM, you will be allowed to vote. General Election Day, Tuesday November 6, 2018, the last day to vote for Candidates for Midterm Elections.
