Impeachment Trial
President Trump’s Impeachment Trial, live to the public on February 4, 2020, with acquittal votes for or against set to occur February 5, 2020. Members of Congress have an allotted time to make an argument for or against Trump’s Impeachment of quilt or innocense related to articles. The Articles Of Impeachment outline the Constitutional reasons for the removal of a President from office, “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” The two articles below were presented by the House.

If found guilty the intent per the Articles Of Impeachment aim for “Removal of office and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office honor, trust or profit under the United States”. The allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Election for the benefit of President Trump’s campaign are still relevant today as it relates to foreign interference in an election for personal gain as detailed in the Hamilton Federalist Papers.
The Hamilton Papers were referenced several times during Trump’s Impeachment Trial, with varying interpretations to directly support each politician’s argument for or against Trump’s acquittal.

Then determine if the elected officials are supporting that intent as required by their position of service to the American people. Then, participate in the civic process and exercise your right to vote to support those upholding the Constitution per your understanding.
