Sixteen years ago today, we remember September 11, 2001. The day our nation’s freedom was assaulted with a terror attack that started with our financial infrastructure, in the heart of New York City, where thousands of America’s innocents perished. Today we remember those we lost, their families, and all of the brave first responders, and fellow citizens that worked tirelessly to save each and every individual in the wake of this devastation. Risking their own lives in an effort to leave no one behind.
As we look back on that day in our history, we stand together and remember the strength of a nation, and the resolve of its people. Never forget.
