‘TRANS MILITARY BAN’ IS DISCRIMINATORY BY DEFINITION | THANK YOU TO ALL ‘TRANS TROOPS’ WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY

Trans Military Ban

On July 26, 2017 The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, declared a ‘Military Ban’ on our Trans Troops  via a ‘Tweet’ stating, “The United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S military“. The specific use of the phrase, ‘In Any Capacity’, solidifies this goes beyond the ability of a soldier to serve. It’s a personal indictment of the person or Trans Community, and by definition, discriminatory.

Trump's 'Trans Military Ban'
Trump Declares’ Trans Military Ban’ via a Tweet

To all of the brave Trans Troops that stand in the eye of danger every day for our country, know that as American citizens, we see you. We support you. We honor you. And, we thank you for your service. An erroneous assessment by the current GOP Administration to support a Trans Military Ban as an attempt to extract out the existence of your bravery, your courage, your endurance, and your commitment to duty and country,  will not be acknowledged by the American people. Push on soldier. The citizens of your country stand with you.

The brief video highlights a specific Transgender Soldier Kristin Beck, formerly Chris Beck, to represent all of the tens of thousands of ‘Trans Troops’ whose names and stories we may not know, that have served, and are currently serving our country with honor. Kristin Beck served her country as a  Navy SEAL for 20 years. She is a recipient of the prestigious Purple Heart, and Bronze Star.
