The American Health Care Act’, dead on arrival. There were too many open gashes in the proposed AHCA, leaving opportunity to infect the outcome of upcoming elections. As politician placed their contituents health needs against this repeal and replace proposal that would leave many of them without adequate health insurance, it left no room to resuscitate an already failing health care bill. As a result, the 216 bi-partisan votes required to pass, were not reached.
There was nothing artful about this deal. No deal on repeal of Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). So, at least for now, it remains in tact.

I plan to vote NO on the current #AHCA bill. As written the plan leaves too many from my #SoFla district uninsured (1/2)

As #AHCA stands, it will cut much needed help for #SoFla‘s poor + elderly populations. Need a plan that will do more to protect them (2/2)
