4TH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS

It is the anniversary of the United States Of America’s Independence, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. And so, Citizens are partaking in any one of numerous 4th Of July celebrations happening across the country and across Charlotte, NC to acknowledge this day in history in their own special way.

One particular celebration worth noting, is the Hickory Grove 4th Of Parade, celebrating the 50th anniversary of its annual event. The parade begins at 10:30 at 6709 Pence Road. The celebration will be held at the Grove Church located at 5735 E W.T. Harris Blvd, from 11:30 to 2:30. While there will be no fireworks, the celebration has a lot of fun in store for those coming together to celebrate as a community. Visit their Twitter handle at @HGrove_parade for more information.
