Early Voting Is Underway Statewide In North Carolina
One-stop ‘Early Voting’ is underway statewide in North Carolina 2018 Primary Elections. Citizens can register and vote early same day from Thursday April 19th, through 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 5th. Voting start times on the last day of early voting varies by county. Check your ‘North Carolina State Board Of Elections’ One-Stop Site Look Up Tool link found below for your voting times and locations. Primary Election Day is Tuesday May 8, 2018.
Early voting allows any registered voter to cast an absentee ballot in person on select days prior to Election Day. Unlike on Election Day, when registered, voters can only vote at their specific precinct. One-Stop voting allows registered voters to vote at any One-Stop absentee voting site in the county. One-Stop sites will have all the ballot styles for a given election at each site.
When you are present to vote at a One-Stop site, you may change your name or address, if it needs to be updated.
