GOODBYE GOOGLE PLUS

Google Plus Goes Away

Goodbye Google Plus
Google Plus Goes Away

For those of you who managed a ‘Google+’ personal or Brand account, just a sad reminder, its time to say, goodbye ‘Google Plus’. Google Plus is scheduled to go away today, Tuesday, April 2, 2019. No more reminders. ExpressYourselfBlog received its last reminder from Google Plus that read simply ‘Your Google+ account is going away April 2, 2019,’ prominently positioned at the top of the account screen as not to be missed. Just moments later, the carefully collected pages of stories and photos were gone. All that was left was a page message and a goodbye statement from the Google Plus team that read as follows:

‘Google+ is no longer available for consumer (personal) and brand accounts’.

From all of us on the Google+ team, thank you for making Google+ such a special place.”

Hopefully, if you were a user or managed a Google Plus personal or Brand account, you had a chance to transfer any content you wished to keep.

What Happended To Google+

Message From Google+ Page April 2, 2019

What happened to Google+?In December 2018, we announced our decision to shut down Google+ for consumers in April 2019. Other Google products (such as Gmail, Google Photos, Google Drive, YouTube) were not shut down as part of the consumer Google+ shutdown and you can continue using those products. The Google Account you use to sign in to these services will remain. Note that photos and videos already backed up in Google Photos will not be deleted.
