National School Walkout Day

Students take to the streets to protest gun violence and congressional inaction to change it with ‘National School Walkout Day’, this Friday, April 20, 2018. What National School Walkout day is, and who is behind it?  Who they are, a ‘Movement powered by students’. Their mission, the reason they protest, ‘Congressional, state, and local failures to take action to prevent gun violence’. Their Goal as laid out on their website:



Three-part Goal:
  1. Hold elected officials accountable
  2. Promote solutions to gun violence
  3. Demystify and engage students in the political system

The newly formed organization National School Walkout makes it easy for activist and other concerned or interested citizens to participate.
